Computer-Aided Design

Projects completed in SolidWorks

A modelling project inspired by the "Badnik" drones from the 2020 Sonic the Hedgehog movie. The intention of this project was to use organic surfacing to create a curvaceous form. Attention to detail, exploring unique surfacing features, and forming dramatic renderings were all practiced through this project.

A modelling project of Sony’s WH-1000XM3 headphones. The intention of this project was to model an existing product with lofts and sweeps, solids and surfaces. This was an excellent practice of understanding rendering lighting, surface materials, and a realistic environment.

Marker Renders

Projects completed using traditional techniques

A project completed using Copic markers to render a Zippo lighter in different materials to practice realistic appearances using a classic rendering approach.

Material Rendering I (1).jpg

A project completed using Copic markers to render a Piaggio Ape in an environment. This challenge was to create a realistic material rendering with attention to detail and surroundings.

A project completed using Copic markers and white gouache to render a Krups electric kettle. The primary challenge was to do "less with more" by allowing the colour of the page speak for itself.
